I've been experiencing problems with my Logitech G PRO Wireless mouse for about a year now. In certain games, the mouse would freeze or disconnect briefly, making it appear as though it was still responding to input even after being released. For instance, if I fired a gun and let go during a freeze, the game would keep firing until I pressed the button again. These freezes typically lasted between 0.5 seconds to a couple of seconds, though it's difficult to pinpoint exactly because they occur unpredictably. The issue seems to appear only in specific titles—such as Ready or Not, Chivalry 2, and Remnant 2—but not in games like Call of Duty, Escape from Tarkov, or any single-player experiences I've recently played. Initially, I wasn't sure what was causing it, as the mouse would move normally otherwise. Remnant 2 provided the most clarity: during freezes, the mouse wouldn't let me move at all, which suggested a disconnection rather than just freezing, and it also produced a strange three-beep sound in my headphones. I haven't played Remnant 2 in months and haven't heard those beeps since. While some forums mentioned a "dump" sound related to lost inputs, I couldn't find any solution online for my setup. I've tried various workarounds—disabling power-saving features in Device Manager, testing different mice (including Logitech and Razer), using wired or wireless options—and none resolved the problem. I also unplugged everything except essential devices, but the issue persisted. No recent software updates seem to have triggered it. Thank you for any advice!

The main choice is to reinstall Windows, though it can be quite troublesome.

I'm working hard to find possible solutions before making any major changes.

For configuring profiles, use the onboard memory manager. You can also download the PRO wireless gaming mouse from Logi support.

I recommend checking out @DoctorNick's suggestion. If it doesn't help, we'll need to keep thinking creatively.

Failed to install G HUB due to permission issues, settings couldn't be saved, and restart didn't resolve the problem.

Did this occur before? It could be related to the USB receiver or software issues. Edit: Your CPU and RAM aren’t overclocked, correct? Was this after updating the BIOS? If you have any OC settings, consider disabling them. Also test with RAM disabled and XMP turned off. I’ve seen similar problems on other platforms too—overclocking isn’t stable there either. Usually I adjust settings after big Windows updates or BIOS changes. The odd part is it doesn’t happen in Tarkov.

I'm pretty sure this hasn't always occurred. I've been using a mouse for almost three years now, and I only started noticing the problem about a year ago. I've tested several models—both wireless and wired—and they all had the same issue.
