Yeah, I'm using the founders edition, but it hasn't hit full performance even at 100%. At 95%, it's barely noticeable while playing with headphones. It's still running faster than stock, so it shouldn't impact performance.

I believe the issue might be related to the GPU, as it crashes at 1200mhz during lag. I'm not sure why this happens.
Edit: The fan speed is now at 100%, unlike my old 2080 Ti which never reached that level (though it had to be removed for other reasons).
I plan to disable the overclock to check if it improves things, but I'm surprised my case with similar fans but less airflow performed better.

This is the final throttling step.
You can test running Heaven or Valley in a specific resolution to observe overclocking tools and possibly the throttle effect.
Also, check CPUID with HWMonitor to see your CPU activity.
Your CPU load should be less than mine because I have 8 cores while you have 6.
Here’s the result: Heaven and Valley don’t strain the CPU, which helps keep your GPU more stable.
3440 X 1440 tests were performed.
Observe how much CPU Valley is consuming in the upper left corner.

My old cases are cooler than most new ones. My HAF X has a 200mm fan in the side panel. Cools better than a sheet of glass.
What you set the power target at will better control heat than changing your overclock.
See the difference with my EVGA XC. 10c difference between 100% power target and 130% with the same overclock. This is with running Heaven.
Notice also that I keep the fans on auto.

The GPU without overclock is now operating between 82-84c with fans running at 60-80%, which is acceptable. The CPU remains at full capacity during long periods, though it occasionally drops to 100% briefly. The game still experiences random lag, but the GPU no longer appears to crash in core clock.
