Your PC has been having occasional disconnections, mostly at night for a few seconds. You've tried several fixes: upgraded the Ethernet card, reinstalled drivers, cleaned the cables with alcohol, and even used Wi-Fi while disconnecting. Since the cable seems solid and replacing it is difficult, let's explore other possibilities to rule out hidden issues.

The problem might lie with the cable. The Wi-Fi router or switch could be faulty. The ports may also be damaged.

the problem seems to happen only when the PC is connected, not when it's off. The connection might be unstable or there could be an issue with the cable itself. Trying different ports on the router didn't resolve the issue.

The issue might be with the cable or the switch at the back of the router. Ports can fail, but Wi-Fi remains functional.

It generally happens late at night, but it's normal during the day too. The Wi-Fi works when you're not connected, and it might occur occasionally. You probably don't need to replace the router unless it keeps failing.

I’d connect another machine and check if the issue persists on both devices. If it doesn’t, you should reinstall Windows. If it does, swap out the router.

It wouldn't be safe to jump to conclusions without more information. These steps rely on assumptions that need verification.
