the problem seems to happen only when the PC is connected, not when it's off. The connection might be unstable or there could be an issue with the cable itself. Trying different ports on the router didn't resolve the issue.

It generally happens late at night, but it's normal during the day too. The Wi-Fi works when you're not connected, and it might occur occasionally. You probably don't need to replace the router unless it keeps failing.

I’d connect another machine and check if the issue persists on both devices. If it doesn’t, you should reinstall Windows. If it does, swap out the router.
