Hey! I've been seeing a lot of strange BSODs lately—on the desktop, while gaming, and when browsing. There are several error codes popping up: one is "0xc000021a" and another is "KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR." From what I found, these usually point to a failing drive. What I tried:
- Ran "sfc /scannow" but didn't see any problems.
- Executed "DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image Restorehealth" without success.
- Used "chkdsk - every time" and it always found something to fix.
- Checked the SSD health with CrystalDiskInfo—it says "95% Good."

Additional details:
- Programs often freeze before the crash, sometimes just a single window.
- No minidump files appear.
- The SSD is a Crucial P1 1TB, about two years old.
- I'm running Windows 11, installed recently.
- Ironically, my PC crashed again while I was writing this.

P1 isn't the most dependable storage option, but you can verify it with their official documentation: https://www.crucial.com/support/storage-executive

Sure, I can try that. Just let me know which SSD you'd like to use as a replacement for the OS drive.

I don’t have any extra SSDs on hand, but I could copy the drive to a hard disk. It’s hard to say how long it’ll take before it fails again—yesterday it worked for about eight hours, but now it’s crashing three times in just three hours. Very erratic behavior.

Cloning an SSD to an HDD might create additional problems since HDDs and SSDs don’t match in data transfer rates. Direct cloning from different drives isn’t recommended, particularly when using an SSD and HDD together—opting for a fresh installation on the HDD is better. Try stress-testing the system by running it under heavy load.

Consider whether a new SSD upgrade is beneficial given that health reports appear normal.

It could work if you have your backups ready.

If the scan detects errors, there could be problems with the disk or your memory. Run a check with chkdsk c: /f /x /r and test your RAM using Memtest86+.
