You're experiencing repeated lag issues despite having a powerful machine, which is really frustrating. It seems like the problem might be related to your system's performance or software settings. Even with low settings, the lag keeps happening—maybe check for updates, run a system scan, or consider optimizing startup programs.

Ubisoft dropped a controversial PC version of that game, and when people showed up demanding accountability, no one cared and just cleaned up the mess. Now it lingers as a lasting symbol of why we shouldn’t support Ubisoft. Classic Ubisoft meme included.

You anticipated something else entirely—it was Watchdogs.

Did he really purchase this without realizing? I downloaded it because it arrived five days ahead. It had some glitches but I just aimed to start playing early and assumed it was a pre-release with the right drivers. This game is amazing. I had no idea it would still function well after two months, even with one patch that made no difference.

It's pretty amusing since I'm not facing too many issues when playing Watch_Dogs on ultra at 1080p. I usually see around 45-50 FPS with my 760 and 4670k at 4.1 ghz. Probably just a bit of luck!

For future planning if someone tries to take one of their games (which I definitely will), I won’t purchase from them for a long time. I got Blood Dragon on Steam without knowing it was double-pressed via uplay. My activation code isn’t valid. I sent an email to their support, but they didn’t respond. So I felt cheated by Ubisoft. At least they can see what happened now.

Hey, people don’t focus on how fast you’re moving. The real problem is the stuttering. Even at 100 fps ultra, it’s still not working well.

I understand you're referring to a specific issue but didn't mention it clearly. You mentioned not experiencing stuttering and asked if running the game in compatibility mode helped. The thread title is about lagging Watchdogs, so I'll focus on that context.
