Boot from the Windows installation media and open the command prompt by pressing Shift+F10. Run the commands listed, capturing the output and screenshots as requested.

If the drive appears when CSM is active, it could indicate a BIOS compatibility problem. I checked the support page for your motherboard at the provided link; here’s how I upgraded the BIOS to version F58: what BIOS version was used before and how did you reach that version?

Updated the bios using the Qflash method. Thought I was on version F40, but now I'm on the latest. F58

There seems to be an issue where your NVME drive is shown as a Microsoft storage space device. The correct model name should appear there (990 EVO Plus 2TB). Clean the system and reinstall Windows. Use diskpart: select disk 1, clean.

Attempt to load NVME driver. Obtain from Gigabyte Windows USB tool download. The NVME driver is general-purpose (not tied to a specific board manufacturer) and works with Windows 7, 8, 10, and 11.

Choose any Windows USB installation tool version, extract it, locate the storage driver folder, and copy it onto a Windows USB flash drive.
WindowsImageTool\StorageControllers\Samsung_NVMe_v1_4_7_17\64bit
and install it during the Windows installation process.

I managed to resolve the issue, but it remained consistent with the bios.

Did you set it up? Tap on the Samsung NVME controller and select install.

I tried but the same problem remains. After completing the installation, I saved Windows to my OS, confirmed there was unallocated space, waited for the PC to restart, and then it simply booted back into the BIOS.
