Hi everyone, I’m facing a problem. I’m attempting to download Windows 11 onto my new NVMe M.2 drive. Even though I’ve updated to the latest motherboard version (F58), it still doesn’t appear as a boot option unless CSM is enabled. It shows up in peripherals instead. I shared a short GIF of my BIOS settings here: https://imgur.com/a/8vbbfIW

You mean installing the OS onto the drive.
Please list the specs to your build like so:

include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time. Since you're on a Gigabyte motherboard, please include the PCB revision as well.

Disk won't appear in the boot sequence in BIOS unless it's capable of booting and has an operating system installed.

Ensure Windows is installed first.
Once that's done, your NVMe drive will become bootable and appear in the available boot choices.
Start by booting from the Windows installation USB and proceed with the setup.

The date indicates 04/01/2024, which is a recent format. This could be an older GIF if it was created before the shift to modern date standards.

No, I downloaded this gif last night and don’t understand why my motherboard feels outdated. I created a USB drive from the Windows 11 ISO and used Rufus to make it bootable. When CSM is off, it lists my NVMe as a boot option.

Rufus, you don't have to, that's what most likely causes the issue. Use the Microsoft Media Creation Tool to download and create a bootable installation USB.

2 tb NVME drives, 2 TB HDD, 128 SSD. What are the specifications of these storage devices? Corsair 650w. The PSU is from Corsair, but the advertised power rating is 650W—what model is this drive?

I'm attempting a clean installation but all the drives near the NVMe are disconnected.
