Nvidia's misleading tactics (my view)
Nvidia's misleading tactics (my view)
Nvidia is benefiting from its dominance and they are confusing buyers with claims about hair effects and game performance on mid-range GPUs such as GTX 960 and GTX 970. These capabilities don’t function even on their GTX980ti (with solid FPS). AMD must regain momentum to capture some market share from Nvidia, or we might witness rapid slowdown in development progress. Additionally, Nvidia is teaming up with major titles like Batman: Arkham Knight, MGSV, and AC:Syndicate to persuade customers to choose Nvidia GPUs over AMD options—even though Arkham Knight had its own brand appeal and people still bought GTX 960 and 970. AMD remains stuck in a situation where products like Dirt Rally don’t drive purchases.
AMD Fury cards are available with Battlefront in their current release.

AMD and Nvidia seem very similar right now, but Intel versus AMD tells a completely different tale.
It seems AMD contributed to this situation. The market isn't a strict monopoly, but Intel could have done better with dedicated GPUs.
