AMD and Intel handle Linux support effectively. AMD doesn’t employ a large dedicated team, yet they’ve made significant strides, whereas Nvidia does very little. Without them, the minimum they should provide is allowing Nouveau developers to create drivers for newer Nvidia graphics cards.
