I've faced a problem that took three days to solve. My laptop has an Intel Graphics 620 and an NVIDIA GTX 950M. I'm attempting to run games using the GTX 950M, but I keep experiencing severe screen tearing, even on the desktop and in Chrome. The rest of my system specs are fine. I've tried several fixes: forcing full compositing (which isn't available in NVIDIA settings), switching between different desktop environments like GNOME, XFCE, KDE across multiple distros, using Arch or Ubuntu Bumblebee (my system is so damaged that Control+Alt+F2 didn’t work, so I had to boot into a live USB and wipe it). It’s not a critical issue—just a suggestion to create a 100GB partition on my 500GB SSD and install Windows solely for gaming, but I’d prefer staying on Ubuntu.

I can't take screenshots or display images directly. However, I can help you describe the tearing clearly so you can capture it yourself or provide a detailed visual reference. Let me know how you'd like to proceed!

I'm still experiencing issues after the Bumblebee crash, with the same tearing problems whether I run XFCE or LXDE without VSync, and no compositor helps. Moving apps or watching videos makes it even worse.

Sure, just use lightshotting, gyazoing, or a windos snipping tool. Trust it.

You're trying to use the new drivers but aren't sure how to turn on your NVIDIA GPU.

Honestly, I'm confused and don't know who to contact about this.

Execute this command in the terminal:
`nvidia-settings --assign CurrentMetaMode="nvidia-auto-select +0+0 { ForceFullCompositionPipeline = On }"`

Ensure you've installed the newest driver for best results.
