I turned on xmp, then manually set the memory speed down to 3200. The screen started rebooting oddly, so I stopped it. After restarting, everything worked smoothly with 3200 RAM and no problems. I was playing Doom at that point, and the CPU temperature reached around 70 degrees, which seems fine.

Thanks! It's unclear what the problem was. I turned on XMP and then manually reduced the memory speed to 3200, but everything appears to be working now.

You could try an alternative approach that avoids direct contact with voltage. Adjusting the CL to a higher setting might let the RAM operate at 3600, while 3200 should work well with a Ryzen 5000, though you won’t gain much more by going up to 3600.

I'm doing well right now, possibly improving later if I face issues. Right now at 3200 MHz, GPU usage is around 99% in the game. I'm really satisfied.
