I liked Origins a lot, though I didn’t buy Odyssey since it felt similar. I fully endorse Origins.

But if you truly liked Origins and it feels repetitive, isn’t that a positive sign? It suggests you’re still engaged with the same core experience. A fresh story, new characters, abilities, and everything else while keeping the same strong foundation. I played Origins & Odyssey and I believe Odyssey is more appealing to me.

The game includes a few challenging sections with complex layouts, mainly near the final stages, which aren’t too exhausting overall.

People often notice when something becomes too perfect or repetitive. After feeling overwhelmed by Origins, I wasn’t keen on jumping back into a game with almost identical features. Odyssey was probably the best evolution of those changes. I might revisit it later, but the value keeps growing over time while the price stays high for older titles.

Yeah that makes sense. I highly recommend getting it during a Steam sale if you do decide on getting it. Normal price for the Ultimate edition (with all DLC which I recommend since “Fate of Atlantis” was amazing in my opinion) is $119. Which is just insane. But during the Steam sales you can get the Ultimate edition for like $20-$30 and if you don’t want the DLC you can get the base game for like $9.99 or $19.99. I can’t remember exactly which I just know it’s a huge discount.

In reality, it didn't seem to be an Assassin's Creed title, yet it seemed to borrow aspects and the gameplay feel of The Witcher series. I felt let down by this, since I really enjoy the swift and energetic action from the earlier Assassin's Creed games.

I didn’t really enjoy the Witcher 3 at first, but I appreciated AC: Odyssey. It might have strayed from the usual AC style, yet it remains an outstanding title with a compelling narrative. Who wouldn’t love Spartan tackling foes off cliffs?

I'm with you on this one. The Witcher 3 is a solid game, though not overly exceptional. I wonder why so many call it a Masterpiece. As for Odyssey, it's only slightly better in terms of interest and enjoyment.

This section is definitely the highlight of the whole experience. I played it and loved it since it deviated from the usual structure. They offer solid games, but they don’t quite fit my preferences this way.
