Friend managed to test the 5080 on their machine and everything functioned smoothly, suggesting an issue might be on my end. After returning it tomorrow, I’ll keep running tests and share any findings.
Consider trying the boot CD of this Linux distribution and checking if your graphics card shows up. I suggest using Garuda Linux and installing via the official guide at https://www.linuxtechi.com/install-garud...p-by-step/. Once started, open the terminal and type "garuda-inxi". You should see a long list of details. Look for sections like "Graphics" or similar, where you can find info about your card such as model, vendor, driver version, and chip details. If it appears correctly, you’re good to go. If not, it might point to a power or motherboard issue. Best of luck!
I don't believe this will work because the GPU isn't recognized at the BIOS level, so it won't appear no matter which OS you use. I'm starting to suspect a problem with the motherboard. However, I found a discussion about the Gigabyte X870e BIOS being somewhat unstable, so I might try an older, more stable version to see if that helps. This is probably the last thing I'm considering before ordering a replacement motherboard.
