I'm holding Microsoft accountable for the issue, as I used to run before the update and it didn't work anymore. I don't get why a rollback didn't resolve it, but it didn't either. Lenovo seems to have missed the "Harman audio" software on their site—searching everywhere, I couldn't find it. Reinstalling that program might have fixed it. I had a similar problem before with this laptop; someone helped me and the audio issue was manageable. Just to be clear, the sound is working now, but the speaker software isn't delivering good quality.

Yes, the "Enable Audio Enhancements" setting is confirmed in the sound control panel for your audio device.

You're not sure if the feature is missing or you're having trouble locating it. The Harman Equalizer isn't showing up in the Windows settings or control panel, even after reinstalling the software. It seems the audio enhancement tools aren't accessible where you expect them to be.

Adjust the display options in the settings menu. Locate the "Graphics Settings" link at the bottom of the main area panel. If unavailable, navigate through the registry under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\GraphicsDrivers and set the value for "HwSchMode" to 1. Restart your system afterward to apply changes.

We were discussing "enhanced" audio options... oops, I almost said that before but got sidetracked. I didn’t have time to verify the laptop settings until now.
