I'm using Windows 10 right now, but it's not the best fit for me. It feels heavy and frustrating, especially since most games I enjoy aren't available on Linux. The dual-boot setup is a real pain—while playing a game, Discord, Chrome, Spotify, and other apps keep running on both monitors, forcing constant restarts whenever I need to check something. Even with Wine, some games have poor performance ratings. Virtual machines are an option, but the mainstream ones don't deliver smooth results. Am I really limited to Windows?

I’m really puzzled. What’s the point of restarting the machine just for this?

I prefer Mac OS over forcing Linux to function regularly, honestly.

They seem to dislike Windows but can't execute the desired games on Linux, so they’d need to log back in to Windows to play.

Sure, at least macOS offers applications and a dedicated development team.

You might play games on a single screen using your gaming setup, while using a budget PC for the rest on Linux with the other display.
