I checked the prices, but I’m not sure how much they’re worth right now. I’ve got two 1070 Ti Amp Extreme from Zotac that are brand new, but I’m not sure what to do with them now.

Does "in crossfire mode" not mean 2 cards? I'm not aware of a way to run one card in crossfire mode. Also OP later said they will get 2 cards.

The cards aren't handling cross-fire well. I need two instances for my video editing tool or other heavy computation, but a single dual-GPU setup on the same device works fine.

DX12 multiGPU works independently. Navi doesn't use CF in any way.
