They seem to be likely to drop Fallout 4 prior to TES 6.

They're currently developing Fallout 4, which means any news about a new Elder Scrolls game will probably be about a year or more away, coinciding with the release of Fallout 4 itself. I believe Fallout 4 will arrive around Christmas this year. It's been three years since it launched. Zenimax handles the publishing, and they're part of a larger group similar to Bethesda, InXile, Splash Damage, id Software, and Arkane.

I understand your frustration, man. I've been anticipating this moment since TES: V came out.

Fallout 4 is expected to release around Christmas, and they plan to reveal it during the VGA event (hoping it isn’t as disappointing as it was last year).

The Elder Scrolls series remains one of the most cherished in gaming history, with almost certain chances of another title emerging soon. It’s likely we’ll hear about it within a year or two, which is ideal—avoiding the situation where new entries flood the market every few months. Keep an eye on updates: http://tesrenewal.com/ They’re updating TES titles using modern engines and are currently developing 'Skywind' (a remake of Morrowind in the Skyrim engine), which I’m eagerly anticipating. It’s purely a fan-driven project, so timing for completion remains uncertain.
