To check if your CPU is limiting performance, examine the clock speed under the base and monitor CPU utilization—aim for readings above 90%. Running Afterburner can help visualize thermal behavior, but focus on usage metrics for a clearer picture.

Turn off Vsync and FPS caps if they're active in the game. Aim for MAXFPS limits. Then check performance—GPU usage should fall significantly below 95% CPU usage, especially when CPU stays above 80-85%. Look for patterns where both happen together or separately. It might be the game's design, not your setup. Every PC has hidden limitations due to different hardware setups, even if it seems smooth. It depends on how you approach this.

Didn't mean to sound doubtful. I was just pointing out you might need additional effort for better performance. You haven't explained the RAM usage yet—having two sticks would be useful if you're running dual-channel. Sometimes budget workstations skip these details, so...

I've started using inspectre on many of my Intel builds now... especially my 4790K MainGameRig. It gives a decent boost. Also, Arrogath has a valid observation. OP - Should you go with a single 8GB stick or two 4GB sticks? A single channel can experience up to 0-50% performance drop (just examples, it can vary a lot), which we might call performance variance or fluctuations from expected results.

You've got the MSI Afterburner data and some interesting observations about your system. To clarify, you're running with two 4GB RAM sticks and have noticed performance fluctuations during gaming. The drops can reach as low as 91%, especially during intense moments, though they sometimes stabilize. It seems the issue might be related to memory usage or GPU load rather than a virus. Your GPU utilization stays moderate, while CPU usage is consistently high, suggesting the bottleneck could be on the RAM or another component. The fact that drops become less frequent at the same map locations hints at possible caching or memory-related problems. Overall, it looks like a hardware limitation rather than malware. What do you think?

They didn't mention being faked, but disabling security patches and pushing overclocking to the limit without saying it feels like faking.
