I reviewed the other two RAM sticks. Stick A functions in all slots, and the PC starts normally. Stick B only works on slots 1 and 3; on slots 2 and 4 the GPU shows no display. I used stick B for a full memtest on my spare Intel board, and it passed without errors. I tried stick A just to check, but it didn’t work either. It seems the third old stick is dead, and the 2nd and 4th slots on the motherboard might be faulty. It’s worth doing a memtest on your board, even though both A and B passed, because the issues could affect stability.
