Only minimal power is available. Avoid dual processors; opt for something simpler like a Y50.

It seems to be an i7 with HT, which should work fine. However, you might want a larger SSD for better performance.

A solid laptop for video and photo editing under $2000 would be a mid-range model with a powerful processor, good graphics, and sufficient storage. Look for options like the Dell XPS 13, Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon, or HP Spectre x360, ensuring they offer at least 8GB RAM and an SSD for smooth performance.

Keep checking those discussions! It works, though it might feel slow sometimes and have occasional stutters. You might want to consider the Lenovo W541 or Y50—they’re on sale right now and really affordable!

You're asking about the meaning of "follow your threads." It likely means joining discussions or following topics you're interested in to stay updated and participate.

This method lets you be alerted when others respond to your discussion, though it can feel expensive and flashy. I still suggest the Lenovo Y50 or W541. They offer similar features at a lower cost and perform well.
