So what occurred? The PC is functioning perfectly. I found a security concern with Gigabyte motherboards, so I updated my BIOS. After flashing, I no longer receive a signal on the monitor and USB devices like the mouse and keyboard stopped working. The PC starts, fans spin, RGB lights are on, that's all... I attempted a re-flash, but it didn't resolve the issue. I reset the CMOS, removed the battery and let it discharge overnight, but that didn't help either. I switched monitors, changed from DisplayPort to HDMI, tried different memory setups, experimented with another GPU, and even sent the motherboard for RMA. I replaced it with a new board, but the same problem persisted. Please offer some guidance! Setup details: Gigabyte B550 AORUS ELITE V2 motherboard, Cooler Master MWE Gold 850 Full Modular V2 PSU, Corsair DDR4 Vengeance RGB Pro 2x16GB 3600 Memory, NZXT Kraken Z53 Cooler, AMD Ryzen 7 5800X, Nvidia RTX3080ti.
That is a very good question... I replaced the complete motherboard with a new one. Same brand, type and model. The probleem still exists. I found the nvidia solution also, but have to find some hardware to try this fix. For me that doesn't explain the USB issues though...
Verify the CPU for bent pins. It seems there might be an oversight in the description.
The Aorus Elite V2 version 1.2 is ready, though it hasn't been flashed yet. It should function as expected out of the box.
Could we explore testing the PSU, try different RAM or CPU options? Perhaps a peer with comparable components could help evaluate your parts.
