Edward doesn't rely on it. You might try, though it becomes increasingly tough. That's why few people depend on it.
He did indeed. It's true that some individuals are accustomed to it, which makes it more comfortable for them. As I mentioned earlier, I personally don't like Accel. However, there are others who do. Claiming that no one uses it is just as incorrect as saying you can't develop muscle memory with Accel. Anyway, I won't debate with you. We were definitely against Accel.
Absolutely, I enjoy playing BF4. It's fascinating how your mind keeps track of distances and where to shoot. I notice a noticeable dip in my accuracy after taking a break from the game—often it takes a few sessions to regain my aim. Speed could interfere with that process, making it hard to maintain consistent precision.
I'm used to console gaming and really enjoyed mouse acceleration. I played BF4 with it until level 90. I only moved the mouse when someone was closing in or if I needed a quick turn. It felt natural until I saw a forum discussion about how much more precise you are with mouse acceleration. I turned it off, which made my CQC a bit shaky, but I got used to playing without it. My long-distance shots became more accurate afterward. It's also satisfying to know just how far to move the mouse to shift your cursor instead of just jerking it around.
I rely on accel since my main game is fun, and I use mu mouce to navigate by moving toward the edges. When I tried without accel, it was really bad. I've learned how to work with it in FPS games because I don’t want to switch it on or off for different titles. Plus, I mostly play campaigns, so it doesn’t impact me much.
