Playing League with accel feels awkward because the mouse acceleration behaves strangely, making every tiny movement feel unnatural and disrupting gameplay. It’s frustrating to deal with this issue, especially since it’s turned on by default. Nobody seems to have thought through how this affects the experience.
Adjust the mouse position so it reaches the screen edge, then return to the center. If needed, increase DPI or make big movements for better tracking. Some users succeed with a trackpad instead of manual adjustments.
