We manage every game stored in our cache. That's the only way we can achieve this.
Pre-loading games without permission breaks the DMCA rules. Generally, you're free to use the game for personal purposes if you have a license. If others besides the rights holder are involved, you'll need a license to share it unless you're selling through a reseller.
It seems this hinges on the specific terms or license. Many MMO examples let you download a game while only verifying purchases before logging in. I don’t play MMO’s, but I’m sure similar situations have occurred.
I’m confused about the concept… It seems unnecessary effort is required, particularly when there are more affordable and legitimate options available.
It includes a usage license, which might require payment for access, though a paid account is often necessary.
A safe method to have your account and contacts removed from Steam. They handle this for users who purchase, play, and later cancel purchases of shorter or less extensive games.
this doesn’t really make sense... [lmg steam cache - what?] you’re only able to play games you’ve actually bought, which means the files themselves are useless unless you own them. you’ll have to purchase before you can play even simple ones. once you own the games, you can “pre-download” everything you have. i’m not sure how it works for businesses—maybe you could just reach out to steam directly and ask. i didn’t read it that way... the problems would be the same; you can’t download a game you don’t own, and in this case he’d need to download hundreds of titles just in case, which doesn’t make sense. ps: i also don’t understand the idea of a cache server—it’s more like backups, right? sure it might be faster in theory, but you’d still need to own the games first.
