I think I might prefer the C13 2666MHz over the 3200C16. The calculations show a lower latency, around 9.75 ms compared to 10 ms for the 16. The board specs say over 2666 MHz, while the video mentions anything above 2133 MHz. Everyone seems to agree on higher speeds being better, especially for workstation use. I’m on a tight budget and need to stay within warranty terms. The Ryzen 9 3900X or similar Zen chips would work well. A 7,370X or 5,360X seems possible, but 9 MHz is ideal. Any advice?

Choosing the 2666 C13 could lower your latency compared to 3200 C16, making tasks quicker even with more RAM available. Having extra memory used would help performance but might not reduce latency as much. It might be better to stick with the JEDEC 2666 C13 rather than overclocking the 3200 C16 to a lower frequency.
