Hi, I’m evaluating a Vizio P Series 4K TV for gaming. It has a “gaming mode” that reduces processing for lower latency. You’re comparing it to monitors, noting similar prices and great visuals for games like GTA. Will the input lag affect FPS performance, and is the size suitable? The model costs $999 for the 55-inch version, with under 10 ms lag expected. Let me know if you need more details. #edit1

The cost of the TV is what you decide based on size and resolution. It offers a 25" 1080p pixel density, and I suggest the ASUS PB287Q since I shared a unboxing link for reference.

I wouldn't normally watch TV for gaming, though I did invest $1000 in Swift, which could mean I'm a bit biased.

I don't think so. I could get two 4K monitors for the same cost. Plus, you're welcome to the discussions!

I checked out BestBuy and saw some 4K TVs; I’d definitely consider buying one.

In my opinion, it's not necessary—personal taste plays a big role. I prefer surround gaming more often.

No problem, but I’d still play at 4K no matter what

I enjoy playing games on a TV, which is why I invested in a 27-inch monitor. Every other week I can switch to a 70-inch screen for gaming. Far Cry 4 and Battlefield 4 run at full speed, with the PC in another room and fans running at high overclock levels. It’s like playing a console, but each game hits around 60 frames per second. That’s really satisfying.

In fact, the Vizio P-Series delivers impressive gaming performance. They offer minimal input lag and almost no motion blur. More details can be found on their official site and review platforms.
