You recently purchased a new motherboard paired with an i5 3470 processor. It’s functioning properly, but the clock speed consistently stays below 3.2 GHz, which limits performance and prevents reaching the full 400 MHz boost you’re aiming for. You’ve already run the AIDA64 stability test to push it higher, yet it still doesn’t exceed 3.2 GHz. Consider checking for BIOS updates, ensuring your CPU is correctly installed, or verifying that the motherboard supports the desired frequency.

I don't have a specific software to report speed with. Could you clarify which tool or system you're referring to?

Go in to bios, from there there must be an option for turbo boost You'r CPU go up to 3.6Ghz with turbo boost

When temperatures rise too much, it won’t improve anything... Just to say if you’re not checking temperatures, no one can assist.

The temperatures stayed below 60°C and I relied on AIDA64 for core speed analysis. I reviewed the BIOS settings and confirmed turbo boost is enabled, yet I’m still seeing only 3.19 GHz in Task Manager during AIDA64 execution.

AIDA 64 consistently displayed a maximum frequency of under 3193 MHz throughout its operation.
