I believed only Samsung produced B dies. If other companies made the chip, then it wouldn't be a B die anymore. My reasoning favors this because tighter clocks, which affect gaming more than memory frequency, are supposedly better.

there are various categories of b-die modules, roughly three or four if I had to estimate. the latest cl14 3600 model reached up to cl16 4266, surpassing the cl16 3866 and cl14 3200 which maxed around 3300. i’m not an expert, but i think the cl14 3600 has strong potential if you’re not at your limits. the performance gap is small, so it’s mainly noticeable for extreme cases. i’d suggest starting with four units, beginning at cl16 3600, and see how far you can push them. voltages below 60c at 1.5v are considered safe, though you don’t need to go that low. https://www.newegg.com/g-skill-16gb-288-...ption=cl14 3200&cm_re=cl14_3200-_-20-232-530-_-Product as I mentioned, the units I had three years ago stuck at around cl14 3300, so this time i’m choosing a higher-end model.

G.Skill is indeed a well-known brand. When purchasing a 2x16 kit on Newegg, it's important to ensure the same batch and that both sticks are dual-ranked. However, using a 2x16 may not be ideal since 4x8 offers superior timing performance.
