Yep... Maybe it's because I can't get 4K support on CS:GO. It wasn't listed in the options and I haven't tried in-engine editing yet, so I'm still running at 1080p. Or perhaps it's related to the newest Crimson driver—I don't know. But it's clearly gotten much worse after the latest patch; scoping with AWP causes stutter, and swapping weapons too fast makes things worse.
It was essentially a troll gun from Valve. As someone who hasn’t even been through high school yet, I really don’t want to get in trouble with everyone and their mother over a simple pocket AWP. The standard one is already enough hassle.
On the 4K side, I’m curious if another factor is preventing the game from recognizing the right resolution. It functioned fine at much higher settings when DSR was released, especially on my 1440p display. Likely around 5K now.
Post the update, they reached the highest limits of my visual options, which then led to a slowdown in the game on my device. Just reset all your settings to their earlier configuration.
I've noticed occasional pauses, and recently in a few instances I've jumped from above 300 frames per second to around 80 FPS or more. It's not a major drop compared to what I expect with my current configuration.
