For those who play CS:GO on a less powerful PC or using the IGPU, did you notice a big drop in frame rate? I used to maintain around 55fps at 720p with maximum settings, now it’s only 35-40fps on average and sometimes falls to 20 without any noticeable lag. Have you seen any plans for an update to improve performance, or has the game become more demanding overall? To everyone suggesting a PC build, I’m planning to do that eventually, but not right now.
The settings have been reinitialized following this update. However, it seems you experienced a drop in FPS.
I’d need to test it on this laptop. On a newer desktop GPU, it feels like a heavy hammer is barely working as well as usual. I’m not sure since my setup is way more powerful than what’s typical for CSGO, as most players use less demanding configurations.
Sure thing. I notice a lot more stuttering lately, which doesn’t make sense. For CS:GO, my rig needs to be super overpowered—even at 4K. (That’s not a big deal since CS:GO only supports up to 1080p, at least from what I see in their settings.) It’s actually affecting my competitive performance too; I dropped from DMG to MG2.
