Some folks are still enjoying playing BF4 today. I faced trouble finding solid servers during my attempts earlier this week. BF3 always loaded quickly, but why isn’t anyone discussing Hardline?
Servers aren't crowded at all. Player numbers have fallen sharply since the game started, so finding a spot in niche gamemodes or specific games can be tough. Those who feel that way are mistaken. BF3 performs much better than BF4, everything runs smoother, and the maps are noticeably improved.
Because of the timezone shift I think BF4 will perform better than BF3 right now. Not everyone wants to experience World War 1-style gameplay, especially since all the weapons are experimental full-auto models that weren’t used in that era. Watching such content can be quite amusing, but it might not attract many players compared to BF4. Still, it’s a WW1 title, and it doesn’t really compete with BF4.
