The offer of a R7 2700 paired with an ASRock X370 PRO4 for roughly $292 seems reasonable.

Avoid the 2700 and X370, they don't add value. Zen 2 offers significant improvements. A 3600 performs better than a 2700 and B550 boards are much more efficient than X370

All updates have been applied to the BIOS, microcode, and Windows. The situation is now unsolvable—it hasn’t been achievable for the past three years.

Your CPU temperatures are likely higher than expected, which could be due to the cooler being outdated or less efficient. Consider upgrading to a newer cooler or checking for dust buildup.

It seems to be a compatible aftermarket cooling solution. If you share the type of case, your budget, and location, we can suggest some great options.

A better choice would be the Cougar MX330 (acrylic glass) at 160.99₪ including VAT or the COUGAR MX331 with tempered glass at 216.99₪ including VAT. Both options are available on Newegg.

The temperatures were elevated. Did you use a new thermal paste during installation?

conditions were awful 100c during heavy load and 60c when idle it was severely throttling so I applied a Hyper 212 spectrum with fresh paste and now idle at 27 and peak at 67 on full use
