This game demands heavy CPU power and thrives on 3D caching. The 7800x3D will be highlighted at CES 2023. Skipping a fresh build for the 5800x3D in 2022 wouldn't make sense. The 9700k offers only eight threads and lacks the strength needed for New World.

Fascinating, since my 8700K and then 9900K handled NW smoothly without any problems. It seems HT really does make a noticeable impact. You could redesign the setup or consider replacing the 9900K with another board for a simpler solution. Although it might cost more now, opting for a fresh system could be worth it.

Okay Thank you, so your suggestion is to wait until the 7800x3d comes out and upgrade the CPU the motherboard and probably the RAM right? the rest should be fine i think?

The system isn't operating at the desired frequency. It recommends increasing to 4.7 at maximum capacity.

The game suggests a 2600k or similar, but a 9700k shouldn't run at full speed for just this game if it's working properly. You should share more specific stats while playing. Begin by checking the process status and CPU usage in Task Manager.

It operated smoothly at 4.6GHz under full capacity; I limited it to 80% in the power settings to prevent overheating.

It's running at 4.5 GHz because it got too warm once more...

Solve your overheating issue, then performance issues. One may solve the other and there is no reason to waste time on performance if the system isn't healthy.
