What issue are you facing? What fan settings are you using? A 9700k shouldn't reach 100°C under normal conditions—forced stress might be the cause. You may need to replace and reattach your cooler.

The CPU cooler is doing a great job! The dark Rock 4 case with the Fractal Design mesh finish really improved the look, making the PC look much cleaner than it did a week ago. The cooler was reworked, refixed, and reattached.

Was die CPU vor oder nach dem Ausfall auf 100°C gestiegen? Unabhängig davon, ob es früher oder später passiert ist, scheint dein Kühler nicht richtig zu funktionieren. Versuche es erneut und stelle sicher, dass er fest sitzt.

I tested several options, but the only helpful change was adjusting my power plan to limit CPU usage to 80%. I also saw some information about issues with certain Intel CPUs in New World, though there wasn’t much concrete evidence to support it.
