It occurred to me in BF3 due to a GPU driver problem. Should I have updated the driver? Reinstall it if you didn’t update, or if you restored the previous version?

It makes sense that the game won’t run properly because your system doesn’t meet the necessary specifications—specifically, it lacks enough RAM and needs a 64-bit operating system. Your current setup will likely cause significant performance issues.

I see, I had the wrong information earlier. My system has at least 4GB RAM, I'm using the 64-bit version of Windows 7 Pro, and I managed to play the game at the lowest settings previously.

It seems there might have been a driver problem with your GTX 460 SLI setup. I tried using the newer drivers for the 9800 GTX+ cards, but Nvidia hasn’t updated their drivers for that model recently.

I switched to the latest beta version and it’s working. I’ve already tried the repair tool in Origin, but maybe I should reinstall the game.
