What do you think about this early version of Battlefield 3? Did you expect the game as you imagined, or did the developers make a stronger choice with the final product?

I'm quite frustrated with the current character and vehicle progression systems. The previous structure offered more balance, which is absent in Battlefield 3. It feels like a mismatch—this could be better described as 'Star Wars Deathmatch' rather than 'Battlefield'.

The video seems to be a Battlefield 2 remake with improved visuals. I’d have liked some updates from the original game, but re-releasing the same title isn’t very exciting either. What actually happened was what I expected wouldn’t happen. Instead of what we hoped for, we got a Star Wars-themed battlefield 3-style experience that includes many of the issues I dislike in today’s shooters, like confusing DLC tactics.

Honestly, it isn't that bad. At 4:51 you can see it was meant to be a campaign (I think). In answer to your question, EA DICE will do a good job if they include space battles; otherwise, I'll lose all hope for this game.

It's wild to imagine dice reshaping a game this way! They definitely want to keep the momentum going with Battlefront 2 once episode 8 drops.

It sounds like you're reminiscing about older versions of Battlefront while expressing strong opinions about the current iteration. You'd like more polished graphics and better scaling, especially with the Coruscant battle. While you admit BF 1 and 2 were lacking, you're not overly critical of them. Now you're looking forward to a standalone FPS experience set in Star Wars, possibly with a long campaign or a single-player focus.

They're already in the process. Visceral is developing a Star Wars-themed action game similar to Star Wars 1313, while Bioware is also creating a new Star Wars project—likely a single-player RPG or an MMORPG.

This latest Battlefront feels quite underwhelming. It misses the depth found in previous titles, especially when considering the single-player experience. Plus, it seems like a steep price for only a couple of emotes and a handful of maps.
