I’m seeking guidance on selecting components for a new build. I’m aiming for around $1500, but I’m unsure which parts to choose. I can put the pieces together easily, yet I have no idea how to pick the right ones. I’ve tried using the $1500 guide as a reference, but I’d really appreciate any advice.

As it stands, if your discrete GPU conks out, you're going to have to source another discrete GPU to rule out yours as the faulty part. I wouldn't purchase the 4070 at that cost, especially since the 5070 is priced similarly. Have you already received that SSD? It isn't displaying a price. I'm also hesitant about the 14th generation. Intel claims they resolved the issue, but I haven't seen any confirmation yet.

All my choices were aimed at getting as near to the “Best PC Builds for Gaming, $500 to $4000+” section on the site. I forgot about the “read this first” thread.
