I assembled a new PC using the components listed. Installing Windows was straightforward, but after a short period, any additional program I tried would fail to load when restarting or shutting down without manual intervention. Despite having three different motherboards, the same problem persists. Stress-testing the RAM and CPU with software from a USB drive showed no issues. Even after moving the system to a new hard drive, the issue remains unchanged. I’m considering discarding it and opting for a pre-built unit or reverting to an Xbox.

Take a backup of your crucial files and note the programs you need to reinstall
Visit Microsoft’s official site to download the Installation Assistant for your chosen version (10 or 11)
Create a new image on a flash drive with the Installation Assistant
Start from the flash drive and erase all partitions using the installer
Install Windows onto the drive, which will now appear as an unallocated space
Restore your data and reinstall the necessary programs
If the same problem persists afterward, it may indicate a drive failure. You’ve already attempted this with another drive. You can assess the drive’s condition using
CrystalDiskInfo

Hey, I'm trying to set up Manjaro right now so I can get the files. I only have one PC at home besides my work laptop, which is secured.

Installed Windows 11 without issues. After installing Steam, everything worked the same. Removed the NVMe drive and it still functioned properly.

Verify your storage condition using CrystalDiskInfo. Additionally, consider how you tested your memory by running MemTest on a USB stick.

Drives seem normal as well, but it's strange I can set up a game pass on the PC, yet Steam freezes when I try to install it. I haven't installed any other third-party programs like Rockstar either, since I'm not sure it causes the same issue.

I'm checking if the installation involves downloading the installer from Steam and then proceeding with the download and updates. I need to determine when the process begins to freeze.

As soon as I restart the PC, I can install and use gamepass for PC, but installing things like WhatsApp works fine. However, when trying to install STEAM or Rockstar, it crashes every time I restart and I can't use any features, including restart/shutdown options. I need a hard reset.
I'm starting to think the issue might be with the memory (MB) or the processor, even though it still passes 100%.
