Using a clean boot environment has prevented crashes so far. I also disabled the AMD dual-core optimizer, which might be the fix I needed.

You're asking if it's better to swap chipset drivers from AMD with BIOS information from the motherboard site, and why someone would do that. It seems you're curious about using outdated resources for a modern setup.

it was automatically installed and already running, so I disabled it. I'm checking if leaving it off during the next restart fixes the problem. It seems to work well on the older processor right now. If it does, I'll revert to the 5800x3d and test again. Regardless of whether it's the 5800x3d, I might go back to Microcenter and replace it with a new one. Note: After turning it off and doing a clean boot, my game crashed again—this suggests an issue with startup components conflicting with the BIOS or processor.

Performing a clean installation of Windows. Ensuring only essential components are added. Testing each step for accuracy.

It seems you're checking the contents of a startup section, likely related to tuning software. It appears the setup matches your description, though it has experienced issues with the 3600 tool.

Hi, I notice you're using Samsung SSDs. If you're also running Windows 11 and the driver files from Samsung are installed, try disabling them so Windows 11's built-in drivers manage the SSDs. I recall a peculiar permission issue in the Event Logs around the time your PC stopped working. Probably just a guess. Updated: I faced this problem on Windows 11, but it might also affect Windows 10. Edited November 8, 2022 by Questargon Update on win ver

I disabled the dual-core optimizer and ran a clean boot, it functioned temporarily. After restarting some previously disabled programs, a game crashed within ten minutes. My system now has many more startup items than before—something that didn’t affect the 3600x but might be caused by software, BIOS, or chipset updates. I’ll share a screenshot later when I’m back online. I’ll attempt this again if no other fix seems possible.

It's accurate that third-party SSD drivers have caused problems with Ryzen for a long time. Using the standard Microsoft drivers is recommended—just remember the driver version (06) and it should work fine.
