Check out a new gigabit connection rated at 1100Mbps that delivers around 900Mbps to your PC. Your current router is reducing performance to 400Mbps. You're using an Atheros AR9340 modem (CM8200A). Consider upgrading to a modern router for better speeds and reliability.

Check out these products: Ubiquiti Networks 802.11ac dual radio UAP AC Pro, Unifi Security Gateway, and a POE injector for the AP. If you're looking for a switch, consider the US 8 model.

You can't reach speeds beyond ~900mbps on consumer devices. A 10GbE router is required for that performance. Those units are very costly. While it would transmit over 1gbit to the ISP, each client only receives about 900mbps due to standard 1gbit ports. https://www.pcgamer.com/netgears-blazing...for-fiber/

This link appears to be a product advertisement hosted on Google Shopping. It may function similarly, but always verify its legitimacy and terms before use.

I also don't require the router for Wi-Fi functions; I just need it to obtain the IP addresses of my devices. You have Plume Pods installed at home.

This refers to an aggregated 5Gbps connection. Essentially, it allows more devices to connect before bandwidth is reduced. They state this because available bandwidth is divided by the number of connected clients. With four clients on a gigabit link, each gets about 250 Mbps. A total of 5334 Mbps enables five devices without dropping below 1 Gbps. Each device must be assigned to one of the four access points.

Essentially, you won't reach speeds above 900 Mbps without conducting multiple tests from various devices to confirm the actual performance.
