It's good to hear. I’m aware only one ISP in the US offers speeds over 1 Gbps to homes, which is Comcast’s Gigabit Pro 2 Gbps Fiber service. I’ll keep an eye on PFsense since it could be more affordable. Particularly if you have older PC components. Otherwise, it seems you’re likely still using the R9000. I’m pretty sure there won’t be many more consumer routers with 10 Gbps support available.

Sure thing. A small tweak in the software can turn the SFP port into the WAN port.
