Hi, your new GPU installation went smoothly initially. After restarting and updating drivers, everything functioned correctly. When you powered down the PC for three hours and then restarted, the same error appeared. This happened even with the old GPU, indicating the issue isn't related to that device. You attempted using only the SSD for Windows, which prompted a bootable device request, but the SSD was the only one available. Please check if there are any pending updates or driver issues affecting the new GPU setup.

Check if the system is responding and restarting. Consider resetting CMOS for a fresh setup.

Bios functions properly, but Windows isn't loading. It detects both HDD and SSD but fails to recognize Windows somehow.

I’d likely eliminate the GPU and rely on the built-in HDMI or VGA connection to check for a signal.

Start from the Windows installation disk and select the repair choice. Execute the built-in diagnostic tool to check for problems.

It's not the GPU issue. I tested it on the older model too, and it worked just fine. Clearing the CMOS is something else—what method are you thinking of?

Typically the problem arises from legacy support or UEFI boot settings. It might seem odd that they haven't changed, but it's worth verifying in the BIOS first. If you're using Windows 10, enabling UEFI is recommended; for Windows 7, it should work fine with Legacy mode.

If you're unable to start Windows, it's best to reinstall it.

Consult your motherboard guide, typically you only need to connect 2 pins.
