I attempted it again. The same issue persists. I'm planning to reinstall Windows. Might the SSD be faulty? Even if the BIOS recognizes it, it still displays available space?

It’s improbable, but Windows could have malfunctioned if you turned it off manually or powered it down. You can still restart and use sfc /scannow via CMD for repairs.

I usually turn it off properly. Now I’ll just set up Windows.

Ideally avoid keeping extra files, as it works fast on an SSD—just a quick fix to ease the issue.

You likely chose it yourself by pressing the designated key during startup. Confirm if that matches your experience.

It really isn’t that complicated… but I’m exhausted from setting up Windows and all the other software. It’s been happening three times in the last couple of days. Can I get a better way to reinstall Windows along with my programs? Also, how does Norton Ghost work?

I attempted all possible solutions. Set it as the initial boot choice, tried direct startup, and removed every other component except the SSD.

I haven't tried Norton Ghost before. My setup uses two 1TB Samsung SSDs in RAID, which I rely on for installing games and other software. I only install Steam or similar on the M.2 drive, and keep backup install files for essential programs. I reinstall Windows about once a month. This approach saves time, effort, searching, downloading, and overall work. You can create a system image after installation for future use and make a boot USB if needed.

Interesting question. Here’s how you can create an image of your system:
Use a tool or software to capture a screenshot, then save it as an image file.
