Nope, the only adjustment I made was to the XMP profile. After running MEMTEST86+ with XMP, I don’t see a need for that change.
So far DISM appears to have resolved the issues. I’ll wait a bit and post again later.

It is typical to reset your CMOS (CLRTC) following a BIOS update or when facing other problems. If you haven’t done this before, it might be the cause of your issues. After updating the BIOS, clearing CMOS will remove any leftover microcode from the CMOS memory. It will reset your BIOS to its original factory configuration. The procedure usually requires around 5 minutes.

It took longer than five minutes because I had to take out my GPU to reach the switch. At least I managed to clear some dust from inside. After rebooting and resetting XMP, everything is working again.

So far everything is fine. It hasn't been this long without any problems for a few months.
Thanks

Thank you, but the program is still running. It worked fine before in Excel, part of Office Pro 2019. Now it hangs again. After the issue began, the Print Screen also stops working. With the latest Windows 11 updates, you can choose what to capture with your mouse, but it causes more problems than it solves.

Have you possibly reinstalled Windows? This could be the only remaining choice. Changing and reverting from different Windows versions might have led to a problem that isn't visible by SFC or as a conflict.

This was a new setup. Only regular updates have been made. After running SFC and DISM, it's functioning much better. For my spreadsheet tasks I'm using Libra Calc instead of Excel. I haven't had to restart. The Print Screen is also working fine.

Is there a method to perform a repair install of Office Pro 2019?

Click the Start button with the right-click option, then pick Apps and Features. Find the Office software in the app list, either as Microsoft Office 365 or Office 2019. Pick the Office app and choose Modify. Decide between option 1 for a Quick Repair or option 2 for an Online Repair, then select Repair.
