I’d recommend sticking with Ubuntu. They focus on making things easy for non-Linux users and offer solid hardware support out of the box.

If you're avoiding the Linux command line, I suggest trying Linux Mint or Ubuntu. For a more stable experience, consider Ubuntu variants like Lubuntu or Kbuntu instead of the usual ones.
