I favor Gmail, though I've worked with Hotmail and Outlook for a long time.

I use both services, and my outlook mail is being sent to my Gmail.

I own an Android device, so I need one regardless... perhaps I'll test both for a while. For some reason, the Outlook interface feels more appealing to me.

Outlook lacks POP3 support and automatically deletes accounts after inactivity periods—last seen as three months, then six, now three. They’re resuming support again. The official page explains more about account closure. I’m unsure how many times Hotmail, Live.com, or GFWL had their accounts removed, nor what caused the issue with GFWL. Skype now also requires an MSN account. I’m still using the same account but keep receiving deletion notices.

I rely on Gmail because I depend on Google for all my needs (Google Chrome, Nexus 6, etc), so everything just integrates smoothly which is what I prefer.

I rely on both platforms. Gmail handles everyday tasks like forum alerts, while Outlook suits my personal needs. I favor Outlook for its neat design, ease of use, and strong features. The updated outlook.com style also looks great.

Gmail suits individual needs while Outlook is ideal for professional settings. For cloud storage, OneDrive offers 15GB free with a maximum file size of 2GB, whereas Google Drive provides 15GB without restrictions (though it's currently at 5TB).

Absolutely, you're correct—they increased it since my last check.
