Need guidance comparing Gmail and Outlook? Here’s a quick overview to help you decide.
Hey everyone. I’m thinking about switching my email and other accounts to a new provider. Since I already have a Microsoft account for Windows, I’m considering using an Outlook address and OneDrive. You know, I’m not a big user of email or cloud storage, so it doesn’t really matter whether I go with Google Drive or OneDrive. It would be smart to stick with one service instead of managing multiple accounts for each platform. I’m not sure which option is better, but both are easy to use on both my phone and computer. My question is: which one offers more advantages? And please, no silly Microsoft or Google complaints.
The Outlook interface is quite poor, and many other applications also rely on Gmail.
If you're not a frequent email user, it might be better to choose a domain that sounds more appealing.
I don’t need to pick one, I use both and keep them on my phone for notifications.
I currently rely on outlook.com, but I’m noticing several small problems that are becoming frustrating. It’s common for the entire page to freeze when clicking, which means I often have to refresh it. Unless you have a better address on outlook.com, I’d recommend switching to Gmail instead.
It seems unnecessary to break a chain email across several messages. Gmail combines them into a single long list.
