I've noticed fast internet but slow response times. I thought it might be my internet connection, but when I contacted them, everything seemed normal. Now I'm looking into more details.

those ping times are 100% fine, absolutely nothing wrong there. Here is mine for comparison. What type of connection are you using? How are you testing your ping?

I connect via Ethernet and check speeds using SpeedTest.net, along with the ping display in Fortnite. Right now I see a 100 ping, which was normal at my previous location with different gear.

The connection speed on the Fortnite servers will be more controlled by the server side than before.

It just occurred unexpectedly, and my ping stayed normal, so distance to the server probably isn't the issue.

Epic relies on AWS for its servers, so consider running some tests at the provided link: https://www.cloudping.info/

Are there additional gadgets connected to the network? Could they be consuming excessive bandwidth? The latency isn't overly concerning despite the ping.

It's really bad to have a 100 ping when you're in Florida.

Which ISP are you connected with? And what kind of internet service do you have? It looks like cable, though I’m just assuming.
