Consider this perspective: In void Linux I don’t have to stress over an update manager crashing my work because it needs to refresh—it just executes one command and everything’s up-to-date. I’m not even forced to reboot. Outside noise outside my house isn’t a bother, so I don’t want those notifications in my getaway alerts. That’s frustrating. And sure, I’d agree with that, but nothing on AMD’s site addresses it, and when I first got the card there wasn’t a downloadable driver through Windows Driver Manager.

It's unclear why it fails. GPUs face different OS and chipset limitations compared to CPUs. A random search might be necessary for them to function. Trying either Windows 7 or 10 should help. If that doesn't work, the problem likely lies with Windows itself. Avoid Apple devices or those using bootcamp.
